Microgen has a comprehensive range of products for Bacstel-IP all approved by BACS for operation with Bacstel-IP:

  • Bacway IP Professional: designed for stand-alone usage, this is suitable for small to medium sized organisations that use BACS for simple applications, typically payroll. This software is designed to work with the smartcards and smartcard readers introduced with Bacstel-IP.
  • Bacway IP Server, Enterprise Edition: client/server software for multi-seat usage. The software operates through "thin client", i.e. the user accesses the software via a browser, and uses the smartcard and smartcard reader system. This software is designed for medium to large organisations that have multiple BACS users.
  • Bacway IP Enterprise Plus: designed for a "lights out" finance operation and therefore for large organisations using BACS software for high volumes of payments. It is especially applicable to direct debit originators. The software makes use of a Hardware Security Module (HSM) meaning that connection to BACS is seamless and submission to BACS can occur without user presence.
