Martyn Ratcliffe

Chairman
Martyn Ratcliffe was appointed a non-executive director of Microgen on 7 May 1998 and Executive Chairman on 31 July 1998. Prior to joining Microgen, he was the senior vice-president and general manager of Dell Computer Corporation, responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.

David Sherriff

Chief Operating Officer
David Sherriff joined Microgen on 3 May 1999 as Divisional Managing Director. He became an executive director and was appointed to the Board on 1 August 2002. Prior to joining Microgen he held senior positions within ECsoft UK from 1993 to April 1999, the last two years as Managing Director.

Philip Wood

Group Finance Director
Philip Wood was appointed Group Finance Director on 2 January 2007. A Chartered Accountant, Philip spent seven years with AttentiV Systems Group plc and its group companies during which time Philip, as Group Finance Director, oversaw the group’s flotation in 2004 and subsequent acquisition in 2005 by TietoEnator Corporation.

Paul Davies

Deputy Chairman and Non-Executive Director
Paul Davies was appointed on 1 December 1999 as Group Managing Director and became Deputy Chairman and non-executive Director on 5 September 2000 and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of the Board on 23 October 2001. From 1994 to 1999 he was Chief Executive Officer of Parity plc and before this he was Managing Director of Easams Ltd, GEC’s I.T. company. Mr Davies was also non-executive chairman of MSB International plc prior to its acquisition in 2006.

Ralph Kanter

Non-Executive Director
Ralph Kanter was appointed as a non-executive director on 16 September 1998 and Chairman of the Nominations Committee on 1 May 2007. He was Chairman and Chief Executive of TRACKER Network plc, a company he formed in 1990, until it was sold to a management buyout in 1999. He currently holds a wide range of non-executive directorships in small and medium-sized public and private companies.

Peter Bertram

Non-Executive Director
Peter Bertram was appointed as a non-executive director on 3 October 2006 and Chairman of the Audit Committee on 1 May 2007. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Mr Bertram is also Executive Chairman of Phoenix IT Group plc, non-executive Chairman of Alphameric plc and a non-executive Director of Anite plc and office2office plc.
